Exhibitions and Events Australia Pty Ltd (EEA) is Victorian based, the directors having 37 years of experience developing many of Australia's best exhibitions. The focus of EEA is to stage excellent events which meet industry and client needs.
EEA was founded by Jane Ford, Managing Director, with Graeme Uthmeyer joining the business as a 50% owner in July 2006. It owns and organises 5 annual MBS FESTIVALS (Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane) and the SAVE WATER SAVE ENERGY EXPO.
The successful track record Jane and Graeme have in running exhibitions throughout Australia will ensure the 2009 SAVE WATER SAVE ENERGY EXPO achieves the highest level of both exhibitor and visitor satisfaction.
Director Profiles
Graeme Uthmeyer founded Australian Trade Exhibitions Pty Ltd (ATE) in 1978. It developed into one of Australia's most respected exhibition companies with a staff of 20 and was sold in 2001 to the London based Daily Mail Group (DMG). Graeme was elected Chairman of the Exhibitions and Events Association of Australia for two years in the late 1990's, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University.
Notable events owned by ATE included Designex, an annual trade expo with 400 exhibitors attracting 20,000 visitors over three days; and the HIA Home Ideas Show, a home builder's and renovator's exhibition drawing 75,000 visitors over nine days.
Jane Ford has 13 years of event management experience, having been the Australasian Director of Trade Events for DMG before founding EEA. Prior to DMG, Jane worked at ATE as the Senior Exhibition Manager for Designex. Jane's expertise is in growing and developing business exhibitions, her portfolio at DMG consisting of 16 shows with a turnover of $15 million pa.
The esteem and respect held for both Jane and Graeme in the Australian exhibition industry is reflected in the numerous, prestigious trade and professional associations which have chosen to work with them over the past three decades.
